Moving Files

Files can be moved by dragging them into a folder or department on the Files page. You can also drag them onto the path bar below the page title to move them to a parent folder.

For more complex move operations yuo can right-click a group of files or folders and click Move. You can then choose the destination folder directly or even move files intto a different project.

Notes

1. Aliases cannot be moved to a different project.
2. Moving a file to a different project deletes aliases to that file in the current project.
3. Moving files within the same project is instant but there may be a delay when moving files to other projects.
